If you're looking for a new church, come visit us.
St Luke's is a Canberra-based Anglican Church. We're small in number but big in heart. With two services each Sunday - a traditional one at 8am and a contemporary service at 10am - and one service on Thursday mornings (10.30) - plus a range of other activities happening throughout the week... we just might be the spiritual home you're looking for.
Whether you're new to the area, or new to the concept of church, come along and you'll receive a warm welcome, a great morning tea - and the opportunity to focus your thoughts on God our Father and his Son, Jesus Christ through worship, teaching and friendship. Who comes along?
We have all types at St Luke's - public servants, educators, business people, people without jobs, homemakers, stay-at-home mums, scientists, creative types, and retirees to name a few. And kids. But these labels aren't important. We aim to be a community of believers who are journeying together, learning to live like Christ. That's our common bond.

WHAT TO WEAR TO CHURCH
Sometimes people ask what to wear to church. The answer is "Whatever you're comfortable in". These days most people don't wear suits and ties, except to weddings and funerals, There's no set rule; most people are in casual or smart casual. It's up to you.You may see the priest-in-charge wearing robes occasionally while leading the service, and sometimes plain clothes, and sometimes the traditional vicar's "dog collar"!
